Insulation Energy Appraisals

An insulation energy appraisal is an assessment of the effectiveness of the insulation in reducing energy consumption and improving energy efficiency. The appraisal involves analyzing the insulation’s thermal performance and identifying any areas where insulation is lacking or insufficient in pipework and equipment.

During an insulation energy appraisal, a Titan professional energy auditor will perform a series of tests to evaluate the energy efficiency of the HVAC, plumbing, and refrigerant piping using a thermographic scan to identify areas of heat loss. 

Based on the results of the appraisal, our inspector may recommend measures to improve the insulation’s effectiveness and reduce energy consumption, such as adding additional insulation, sealing air leaks, or upgrading to more efficient materials.
